About the venue

The Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural & Educational Center is a multidisciplinary cultural space rooted in the Puerto Rican diaspora of New York's Lower East Side. For SoCiviC Theatre, performing FAREWELL, AND ERASE at The Clemente is a deliberate choice: a bilingual Spanish/English Latinx cultural home hosting a trilingual Chinese/English/Miao company.

The shared commitments — community theatre, cultural memory, and underrepresented voices — make this partnership meaningful beyond logistics. Attending a show here is a way of supporting both organizations.
